This program affords an opportunity for students interested in Japanese business to combine the study of language and Japan area studies with the MBA. In this program, the school permits fifteen (15) credit hours of graduate-level course work taken in the Field of Asian Studies to count as MBA elective credit. To reduce the time required to earn the two (2) degrees, one (1) residency unit is dropped as well. Normally, students begin this program with twelve (12) months' residence in the Full-year Asian Language Concentration (FALCON) Program; followed by three consecutive semesters at the School wherein the core and the MBA elective requirements are met; and then complete the program in Asian Studies in two (2) or three (3) additional semesters.
