Core Course Requirements

Core Courses
For students matriculating in summer semester 2000 and after, the core requirements are as follows: The Johnson School core requirement consists of eight courses totaling 20.0 credits. These courses are:
  • NCC 500 Financial Accounting (2.5 credits)
  • NCC 501 Statistics for Management (2.5 credits)
  • NCC 502 Microeconomics for Management (2.5 credits)
  • NCC 503 Marketing Management (2.5 credits)
  • NCC 504 Management and Organizations (2.5 credits)
  • NCC 506 Managerial Finance (2.5 credits)
  • NCC 508 Managing Operations (2.5 credits)
  • NCC 509 Strategy (2.5 credits)

Students will take six of the eight specific core courses during their fall term, and the remaining two core course in their spring semester.

Note: Accelerated MBA students will take seven of the eight specific core courses during their summer term, and the remaining core course in their fall semester.
