Directed Readings and Research Courses

All directed readings and research courses are to be given on a mandatory S/U basis. No more than three (3) hours of directed readings can be taken in any one (1) semester (or period of instruction). Directed readings and research courses cannot be taken other than during regularly scheduled semesters (i.e., cannot be taken during wintersession or summer) unless prior permission is obtained from the Academic Standards Committee.
