Keynote Speaker

Alison Levine
President & founder
Daredevil Strategies
Having served as team captain of the first American Women's Everest Expedition, Alison Levine combines her knowledge of mountaineering with 20 years of business experience drawing the parallels between staying alive on the world's most dangerous peaks and succeeding in a fast-paced business world. She will take you on a journey to Mt. Everest, the North Pole, and up the slopes of mountains from every continent on the planet, where determination is every bit as important as skill when it comes to survival... and willpower is the most essential piece of equipment.
An accomplished adventurer and explorer who has also spent two decades navigating the business world, Alison Levine understands the challenges faced by today's global organizations. Prior to founding Daredevil Strategies™, Alison worked in telecom, healthcare and finance. She has been based in both the U.S. and Asia and has conducted business on four continents. After earning her MBA from Duke University she moved to New York to work for Goldman Sachs. In 2003, she left Wall Street to serve as deputy finance director for Arnold Schwarzenegger in his successful bid to become Governor of California.
While running her consulting company she also founded the Climb High Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of jobless women in third-world countries by training them to be trekking guides and porters in their local mountains so they will have the skills to benefit from climbing and trekking-related tourism.

It was truly inspirational, and I'm sure many others felt as I did, humbled by your experience, leadership and ability to triumph in that raw, powerful and beautiful environment. As you so wonderfully illustrated, there are many corollaries between climbing Mt. Everest and our daily striving to excel, to execute, to be leaders, producers and to conduct ourselves with integrity and a positive attitude.
