Christin L. Munsch

Christin Munsch's interests lie in social stratification, gender inequality, organizations and social psychology. She is currently working on several projects including how company's come to adopt gender equitable policies and procedures (with Beth Hirsh) and gender differences in negotiation outcomes. Munsch is currently working on her Ph.D. in Sociology at Cornell. Her dissertation work looks at the influence of threatened masculinity on social interaction, including gender discrimination and gender-based violence. She received her master's degree in sociology at Virginia Commonwealth University and her undergraduate degree in English Language and Literature and Studies in Women and Gender from the University of Virginia. She has taught at Virginia Commonwealth University and Cornell. Before graduate school she worked in several non-profit women's advocacy programs.
