George T. Schneider
Lecturer of Entrepreneurship

Professor Schneider received an engineering education at Cornell (BME '59) and is a business executive by experience. He teaches NBA 530, Entrepreneurship Lab, and NBA 507, Entrepreneurship for Scientists and Engineers. The latter approaches entrepreneurship from a high tech perspective, utilizing John Nesheim's book "High Tech Start Up." Professor Schneider has 35 years of business experience, including senior financial and executive positions in several entrepreneurial manufacturing companies. He was CFO of a public wire & cable company, President of a hospital supply company, and CFO/part owner of a small capital goods company. Ater selling this company, he returned to Ithaca to found the Business Innovation Center.
