Niro Sivanathan Visiting Assistant Professor of Management & Organizations PhD (expected 2008), Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University Professor Sivanathan's research focuses broadly on the impact of psychological and economic incentives on judgments and behavior, with interests in trust development, dynamics of power, reputation mechanisms and methods to de-bias decisions. His current work examines scurrilous competitive behaviors that arise from promotion tournaments. His research has appeared or set to appear in Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes and the Journal of Applied Psychology. He has taught negotiations at the MBA level at the Kellogg School of Management. Professor Sivanathan received his master's from the Queen's School of Business and his undergraduate degree in Psychology from Queen's University. He is currently completing his doctoral degree at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
