Richard A. Uhlig
Visiting Senior Lecturer of Finance
Richard A. Uhlig is CEO of Morgan Stanley Bank. He was formerly a managing director and the head of residential real estate and principal investments at Merrill Lynch, where he also served as chief investment officer, designing and implementing a proprietary asset-investment strategy for the firm's developing banks. Under his tenure, proprietary investments grew from $5 billion to $65 billion. In addition, Uhlig has held prominent positions at Deutsche Bank AG, Lehman Brothers, Goldman, Sachs & Co., Prudential Home Mortgage Co. and Deloitte Haskins & Sells. He holds a BS in economics from Cornell.
