The Role of Teaching at the Johnson School
The Johnson School places enormous value on the quality of instruction its students receive. Teaching is a critical part of the Johnson School culture—and it always has been.
Faculty teach rigorous courses, grounded in the theory and practice of management. Courses are applied and applicable, building foundational knowledge in students, and exploring and determining how that knowledge is expressed in the current business environment.
Our faculty are serious about being good teachers. Course evaluations on multiple teaching and curricular measures are published for the benefit of students and to provide feedback for faculty. And excellent teaching is recognized each year, when students select winners of teaching awards in each MBA program.
