Among the many aggressive actions in this bundle of initiatives are these highlights:
- Alumni Outreach—expanded engagement through outreach, clubs, services
- Annual Fund—12% increase in alumni giving from 2005 to 2006
- Admissions-Career Management Supply Chain—further expanded and integrated to target specific candidates, provide exceptional preparation, and place them in positions well suited to their strengths and skills
- External Relations Team—vigorous, integrated outreach among all departments that touch alumni, prospective students, recruiters, and the media
- Marketing/Public Relations—our new website generated 1.6mm visits from 488 unique visitors during 2006-07, increased media coverage, targeted programs and events including "Business of…" and "Discover Cornell," seminars for journalists
