Our Worldwide Reputation: A Top-Ten School of Management
Rankings are one measure of reputation, and are based on varied criteria. Our current rankings are:
- Business Week #13 U.S. (2006 ranking) for full-time MBA programs, based primarily on surveys of students and corporate recruiters and an intellectual capital ranking
- Forbes #10 U.S. (2007 ranking) for full-time MBA programs, rated on return on investment
- Financial Times #29 worldwide (2007 ranking) for full-time MBA programs, based on salaries, alumni satisfaction, employment and careers, gender diversity, international diversity, and ideas generation
- Wall Street Journal #16 U.S. (2006 ranking) overall, based on recruiter surveys
- Beyond Gray Pinstripes #9 (2005 ranking) sponsored by the World Resources Institute and Aspen Institute, based on student preparation on social, environmental, and economic perspectives required in a competitive global economy
Applications reveal how prospective students perceive us.
From 2006 to 2007, applications to our Two-Year and Accelerated MBA programs based in Ithaca increased 30%. This year, we were able to be more selective than in 2006, and the percent of applicants who accepted our offer of admission also increased.
