Johnson School Team in Final Round of Case Competition

Team to Face Harvard, Emory and Notre Dame for $12,000 Prize

November 23, 2004, Ithaca, New York The Johnson Graduate School of Management is pleased to announce that the student team of Tzu Chieh Lin, Jeremie Delvoie, Joshua Parker, Olga Narvskaia, and Nailah Jinnah have earned a spot in the final round in the First Annual Fuqua Product Strategy Case Competition. The Johnson School team will participate in the final case analysis December 4-6, 2004 in Durham, North Carolina, against teams from Harvard, Emory, and Notre Dame.

Students from top business schools around the country participated in the first round of the First Annual Fuqua Product Strategy Case Competition. Teams were required to develop product-line strategies for NavMan and Northstar, companies that design, manufacture, and market global positioning system (GPS) products for the marine, personal GPS, fleet management and OEM markets. The Johnson School's team was chosen with four other teams (two from Notre Dame) to participate in the final round of the competition. John Deere, a company that manufactures agricultural and construction equipment, will judge the final round. The winning team will receive a $12,000 prize, and the team placing second will receive $3,000.
