The public is invited to attend the induction ceremony and reception that will follow the event.

"I am fortunate to be among the many distinguished people who serve on the Johnson School Advisory Council, as my father did before me for 16 years. I am also grateful to find my somewhat shadowed life illuminated by the brilliance of the others who have earned a place on this Hall of Honor wall," said Roy H. Park, Jr.

The Johnson School Hall of Honor was established in 1979 to acknowledge publicly the Johnson School's gratitude to its most generous of alumni and friends as evidenced by their tremendous support, outstanding leadership and dedicated service in building the Johnson School's strength. Induction into the Hall of Honor is the highest form of recognition bestowed by the dean on behalf of the Johnson School community. The likeness and name of Mr. Park has been cast in bronze, and the sculptured plaque is attached to the wall in Sage Hall's West Entrance. This permanent and public expression of appreciation serves to create awareness within the Cornell community of how instrumental the honoree's role has been in building and strengthening the Johnson School.

"Roy Park is one of our most outstanding graduates who has generously provided his time and gifts for the betterment of our community. Through the Roy H. Park Leadership Fellows program, one of the most sought after scholarships in the nation, Roy has changed the lives of our students while improving the Ithaca community. We are pleased to be able to publicly recognize his extraordinary contributions and commitment by inducting him into the Hall of Honor," said the Anne and Elmer Lindseth Dean Robert J. Swieringa.
