I wanted a general management experience so I could take my career to the next level. And I really needed to round out my skills in finance, marketing, and operations. The Semester in Manufacturing Immersion enabled me to view an organization holistically - taking operations, strategy, marketing, finance, and HR all into account to make decisions at all levels. This is exactly what I wanted to learn coming into business school.

My Johnson experience has truly been life changing. I was able to take an honest look at who I was as a leader, friend, and person. I was able to take risks and stretch myself, learn from my mistakes and jump right back into the mix to try again. After this experience, I truly believe that opportunities abound and I can take advantage of each one as I see fit.

The Office of Diversity and Inclusion was instrumental in my decision to apply to the Johnson School. The Johnson School offers a much richer environment and supportive system than I have witnessed at other schools.

To top it all off, while I was in Ithaca I learned to ski, swim, and salsa!
