Ola Bengtsson
Assistant Professor of Finance and Entrepreneurship
Professor Bengtsson's research focuses on private equity and venture capital. More specifically, he studies how venture capitalists select in which entrepreneurs to invest, how contracts between venture capitalists and entrepreneurs are structured, and how executives and employees of venture capital backed companies are compensated. At the Johnson School, Bengtsson teaches three classes in entrepreneurial finance and private equity, and is the faculty advisor for the BR Incubator. He holds an MBA and PhD from the Graduate School of Business at the University of Chicago and an undergraduate degree in business and economics from the Stockholm School of Economics. He joined Cornell University in 2006.
