Kathy K. RuparPhD CandidateAccounting Kathy is a 4th year PhD candidate at the Johnson Graduate School of Management working in the area of behavioral accounting. Before realizing her passion for research she obtained bachelors and masters degrees in accounting from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and spent a short period of time in the audit industry. Given her background she finds research questions in auditing interesting, however her stay at Cornell University has also led to a fascination with managerial and financial reporting topics in the area of judgment and decision making. Currently she is working on projects spanning both of these topics, with one paper investigating improvements to decisions made via the balanced scorecard and a second addressing how pro-forma disclosures may lead to higher quality financial statements. kkr8@cornell.edu 401I Sage Hall 607-255-2614 |
