Salman Amin become president of PepsiCo UK and Ireland in October 2005, after a number of years as PepsiCo's most senior international marketing officer. Amin brought to this role a broad range of experience in consumer products, including PepsiCo's largest businesses, snacks and beverages. As senior vice president of marketing for PepsiCo International, he was responsible for marketing all PepsiCo brands outside the U.S. and Canada. Prior to that, he served as senior vice president responsible for marketing international snacks. He joined PepsiCo in 1995 as vice president of marketing for Pepsi-Cola International.

Prior to joining PepsiCo in 1995, Amin worked at Procter & Gamble, where he built consumer product lines, such as Vidal Sasson, across a range of international markets, including the U.S., Germany, Asia and the Middle East.

He holds a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Syracuse University and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
