Classroom Opportunities

Treks

Each year student organizations make treks to major U.S. and international cities. Treks provide both an important educational function, introducing students to key industry trends and issues, as well as excellent networking opportunities. Treks are organized either by geographic concentration, industry sector, or a combination of both. Student clubs assume complete responsibility for setting the agenda and arranging visits, and the Career Management Center makes recommendations for employers and contacts.

In addition, as part of the Johnson School's emphasis on performance learning, faculty arrange for visits as part of coursework and as a central component of our immersion programs. If your organization is interested in participating in a trek, please contact Kim Alexander, associate director for Employer Outreach, at (607) 255-0350 or kka3@cornell.edu.
