Johnson School Clubs
Johnson School student clubs also provide additional learning opportunities in specialized areas of entrepreneurship:- Entrepreneurship & Venture Capital Club fosters thinking and discussion regarding entrepreneurship and the funding of entrepreneurship through venture capital. The EVCC participates in national business plan competitions, provides unique opportunities for small group meetings with invited speakers, creates access to Cornell's Entrepreneurship and Personal Enterprise program, and engenders learning experiences for those who have limited knowledge of this professional field. Additionally, EVCC sponsors the Johnson School's premier entrepreneurship symposium each year.
- Healthcare and Biotechnology Club (HBC) provides a forum for interested students to learn the business of the healthcare and biotechnology industry, and to interact with leaders in biotechnology, genomics, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, life-science focused venture capital, healthcare IT, consulting, and investment banking. The organization also works as an effective vehicle to gain employment in healthcare and life science companies. The HBC develops new relationships and strengthens existing interactions with companies and recruiters in the effort to make the Johnson School a leading recruiting ground for healthcare and biotechnology companies.
- High Tech Club strives to advance the understanding of technology and its impact in today's global business environment. The Club works with the Johnson School to facilitate opportunities for students to explore professional and informational trips to Silicon Valley and Boston's high tech corridor as well as host the annual High Tech Symposium.
