Sustainable Innovation
True sustainability cannot be achieved through incremental gains in efficiency that are outpaced by increases in net production. Fundamental innovation of products, processes, services, and even business models are necessary to significantly address social and environmental issues.

We believe that only by replacing many of today's unsustainable technologies with those that are inherently clean, renewable, and non-toxic can we make rapid progress toward a more sustainable world. We seek to better understand the challenges that inhibit sustainable innovation - from managerial mindsets to standard operating procedures. We conduct research about successful clean technology entrepreneurship, as well as the development of new tools, techniques, skills, and capabilities geared toward discovery and innovation.
