Washington Post features Prasad's interview with Susan Li on Bloomberg Television's "First Up"

Eswar Prasad, the inagural faculty fellow for Johnson at Cornell University's Emerging Markets Institute (EMI), senior professor of trade policy at Cornell and a former head of the International Monetary Fund's financial studies division, talks about the outlook for the global economy.

Prasad, author of "Emerging Market Economies....resilience and growth among global turmoil" (Brookings Press, 2010) says that Euro-area countries will do whatever is necessary to end the crisis and ensure the financial stability of the entire euro area and its members, the IMF said in a statement after its meetings in Washington on Sept. 24.
