Prior to pursuing his MBA at Cornell Johnson, Marcel has 5 years of banking experience in Germany. The most notable position is as an investment advisor with a German asset manager managing his own group of private and corporate clients&rsquo accounts. In addition, he interned as a research analyst with two German Investment Banking Boutiques focusing on cross-border M&A and Finance transactions in the retail and real estate business. His passion about social/impact investing led him to start a new business in the alternative investment industry, providing private clients with cost conscious and well diversified investment portfolios. At the moment he works as an associate for the Big Red Venture Fund focusing on social/educational start-up companies, and as a Consultant on workplace strategies for a major asset manager in Boston. The EFII-Fellowship coupled with Johnson&rsquos Sustainable Global Enterprise Immersion underline his career goal which is to become a social investor.

He holds a master&rsquos degree in Finance and Banking and the professional designation Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst CAIA.
