Benjamin Garcia is currently pursuing a MPA with a concentration in Nonprofit and Public Management at Cornell University. He is expected to graduate in 2014. He also serves as president of the ALPFA Delaware Professional Chapter, a nonprofit organization with over 150 members that promotes leadership, diversity, community outreach, and professional development. Before beginning graduate school, Ben worked at Deloitte as an external auditor where he audited clients in financial services, higher education, and manufacturing. He also served as Co-Lead for the Deloitte Philadelphia Hispanic Network and Co-Lead for the Deloitte National Hispanic Network Membership PMO team. He began his professional career as an Equities Financial Analyst at JP Morgan's Investment Bank. Ben managed reconciliations for North America and South America equities, and investigated cash related exceptions. He enjoys working on 'hands on' projects, and most recently helped initiate the Cornell Latin America Student Society CLASS and the CIPA Sports Club CSC, and is serving as CLASS Vice President and CSC President. His research interests include development projects, sustainability projects, and diversity in the workplace.

Ben earned a Bachelors of Science in Applied Economics and Management with concentrations in Accounting and Strategy from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York in 2008.
