Matthew enrolled at Johnson following work as a consultant at the United Nations Global Compact, the world's largest voluntary corporate responsibility initiative, where he focused on supply chain sustainability, human rights, and government relations. Among several projects, he was the Senior Managing Editor of Embedding Human Rights in Business Practices Volume IV, a series of ten case studies examining how companies address concerns about human rights impacts. Prior to joining the UN Global Compact, he was the Deputy Director of Earth Day New York, an environmental non-profit, where he organized events, community programs, and publications to educate the public about the environment and how they could improve their impact on it. Matthew is the Editor-In-Chief of the Cornell Business Journal, Treasurer of the Out for Business Club, the Affinity Representative for Sustainability Consulting in the SGE Club, and an Environmental Finance and Impact Investment Fellow.
