Ginger was born and raised in Taiwan, where she received BA of English Literature from National Chengchi University and spent a year in University of Washington Seattle as exchange student. Ginger started her career as a project management officer in a joint venture bank in Taiwan to build a 3-year rebranding exercise for the company. She later kicked off her marketing career at Nielsen as a market research executive, serving a lot of clients in Fortune 500 companies and learned how to turn consumer insights into strategies. To practice what she learned at Nielsen into business context, she assumed a role of marketing manager in BOC Fullerton Community Bank joint venture between Temasek and Bank of China in Beijing, China, overseeing small-and-medium enterprise marketing as well as bank-wide brand marketing. As the first marketing expert and the 29th employee joining the startup bank, she helped the company grow from 30 people to 600 people within 18 months.
Passionate about marketing and entrepreneurship opportunities at Johnson, she is currently VP of marketing for Public Speaking Club and VP of Treks for High Tech Club. She is also a member of Johnson Admission Group JAG and participated in a startup called Briostorm in summer 2013 as marketing consultant alongside with her internship at Citibank New York City as summer associate. During her free time, she likes to watch foreign movies and explore the world.
