Cornell University, led by the Johnson Graduate School of Management, is offering an engaging, world-class Program on public-private partnerships, or PPPs. The Program is designed to help develop the capabilities public and private sector leaders need to successfully plan, create, and operate infrastructure PPPs. PPPs have emerged as a critical tools to help design, construct, finance, operate, and maintain infrastructure across a range of sectors and countries. The Program will consider PPPs in both network infrastructure, such as roads, bridges, tunnels, and water systems, as well as social infrastructure including schools, hospitals, and courthouses.
The Program includes thought leaders from Cornell in the areas of public infrastructure policy, business leadership and international relations along with industry practitioners who hold considerable experience in PPP implementation. Over the course of the 3-day program in New York City, participants will learn from examples of both successful and unsuccessful PPPs. They will also have an opportunity to form new connections and collaborations with other motivated participants stemming from shared session experiences.
Cornell structured a unique executive program for leaders designated to successors and high potentials in rapidly rising positions in Brazil. Besides the exchange of experiences among participants, which provides the reflection and collective discussion of the major business challenges, the program will provide corporate and individual skills to the participants, with case studies, guest speakers, assessment on leadership profile and exchange of experience.
