Glen Friedman

Glenn Friedman, CFA

Manager of Asset Allocation and Investments, TIAA

Glenn joined TIAA-CREF Tuition Financing, Inc. in 2013 as a Manager of Asset Allocation and Investments. He is involved in all aspects of the asset allocation process for Education Savings, including designing investment strategies for state clients, performing manager due diligence, conducting asset class research, and delivering customized presentations to clients on a variety of topics. Prior to this role, Glenn was a Senior Associate Portfolio Manager at AllianceBernstein. There, he managed a base of active equity portfolios and implemented daily trading decisions for stocks, futures, and currency forwards. Glenn is an honors graduate of Tufts University in Quantitative Economics, a CFA charterholder, and a member of CFA Society New York.

Brian BrugmanBrian T. Brugman

Portfolio Manager—Multi-Asset, AllianceBernstein

Brian T. Brugman is a Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manager on the Multi-Asset Solutions team, responsible for the Alternative Return and Dynamic Asset Allocation strategies. He previously served as a senior quantitative analyst, with research focused on multi-asset factor, dynamic allocation and risk control strategies. Brugman joined the firm in 2007 as a quantitative analyst focusing on the design and management of bespoke portable alpha and liability-driven investment solutions. He holds a BS in physics and applied mathematics from the University of California, Riverside, and a PhD in physics from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Andrew ChinAndrew Y. Chin

Chief Risk Officer and Head—Quantitative Research, AllianceBernstein

Andrew Y. Chin is Chief Risk Officer and Head of Quantitative Research for AB. As Chief Risk Officer, he oversees all aspects of risk management to ensure that risks being taken are well understood and appropriately managed. In the Quantitative Research role, Chin is responsible for optimizing the quantitative research infrastructure and resources, and for leveraging best practices across and within asset classes. He has held various quantitative research roles in New York and London since joining the firm in 1997. In 2004, Chin became a senior portfolio manager for Style Blend Equities and was named director of Quantitative Research for Value Equities in 2005. He previously spent three years as a project manager and business analyst in Global Investment Management at Bankers Trust. Chin holds a BA in math and computer science and an MBA in finance from Cornell University.

Will CollinsWill Collins-Dean

Vice President and Portfolio Manager, Dimensional Fund Advisors

Will manages equity portfolios and is responsible for strategy execution. His responsibilities include order generation, cash management, foreign currency trading, performance analysis, and interaction with current and prospective clients. Prior to joining Dimensional, Will was a portfolio manager at Regions Bank in Birmingham, Alabama. In this role, he managed portfolios for institutions and high-net-worth individuals. Will earned an MBA with concentrations in analytic finance, economics, econometrics, and statistics from the University of Chicago, where he graduated with honors. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in business from Wake Forest University and has been a CFA Charterholder since 2011. Will is Series 7 licensed.

Austin RosenthalAustin Rosenthal

Vice President of Intermediary Distribution, Dimensional Fund Advisors

Austin Rosenthal is Vice President of Intermediary Distribution at Dimensional Fund Advisors. In his role on the DC Services team, he is responsible for managing relationships with the field sales forces of Dimensional's DC platform clients. He leads all field sales-related activities, including educating platform sales teams and assisting those teams with sales support and information about Dimensional's suite of DC solutions. From 2010 to the end of 2013, Austin was responsible for the US business development of the Dimensional Managed DC solution at Dimensional SmartNest, where he worked with recordkeepers, financial advisors, plan sponsors, and investment consultants. Austin spent most of his time in the field working with large 401(k) advisors, helping them to grow their books of business and enhance their service levels.

Prior to joining Dimensional, Austin worked at Lincoln Financial Group in a variety of sales, strategy, product management, and innovation roles. While at Lincoln, he managed a sales team that worked with Lincoln's annuity wholesalers to deliver a retirement income planning solution to thousands of Lincoln's financial advisor clients. In 2010, Austin was promoted to be responsible for business line strategy at Lincoln's Retirement Plans division. He also was a member of the investment committee for Lincoln's defined benefit and defined contribution plans. Before joining Lincoln Financial, Austin was a managing director of the team that built SmartNest at Integrated Finance Limited. He started his career in JPMorgan's investment banking organization, ending up as an associate focusing on financing mergers and acquisitions and raising capital.

Austin earned a bachelor's degree in finance from the University of Texas at Austin, where he graduated summa cum laude. He is a General Securities Principal and registered rep with FINRA and holds Series 7, 24, 63, and 65 licenses. He is also a Chartered Retirement Planning CounselorSM.

Doug MoonDoug Moon, CFA

Executive Director, Banker, J.P.Morgan

As a senior private banker at J.P. Morgan, Doug Moon coordinates the Firm’s investment management, lending, fiduciary, and hedging activity for professional investors, their families, and related foundations and trusts. Doug joined the Private Bank in 2007 following eight years with Goldman Sachs, where he co-founded an investment team that counseled entrepreneurs and families in New England. Previously he provided investment consulting services to college endowments and foundations at Cambridge Associates. In addition to his capital markets experience, Doug has assisted families in evaluating and implementing their philanthropic plans. Doug served as the Director of the Harvard Graduate School Fund during a University capital campaign. Since 2001, Doug has been a CFA Charter holder and a member of the Boston Security Analysts Society. He also volunteers on the South Shore Hospital’s Foundation Board. Doug earned an MBA from Cornell University and a bachelor's degree, with honors, from the University of New Hampshire. In his spare time, Doug enjoys live music.
