Johnson Opens Application for Class of 2018

With the recent launch of our 2015-2016 application, we are excited to welcome you to the admissions process at Johnson! This year we’ve introduced a few admissions requirement changes, each with the goal of helping you to further convey your strengths and fit as a candidate.

Here's a quick look at these enhancements:

  • Table of Contents Essay - A longtime favorite for candidates and our team, we continued this essay but encourage enhanced creativity in submission medium.
  • Goals Essay - Over the years we've asked this question in a variety of ways and decided to simplify this prompt. What are your short- and long-term goals, and how do you see the Cornell MBA enabling you to achieve both?
  • One Letter of Recommendation - One required submission places greater emphasis on who you select as a recommender and not just what he/she has to say on your behalf.

An additional change focuses on application deadlines to include four rounds of admission for the Two-year MBA in Ithaca program and three rounds of admission for the One-year MBA in Ithaca program. I encourage you to closely review important dates online to get a better sense of when to make your submission.

If my team can be helpful with answering any questions or assisting you with your submission, please do not hesitate to be in touch. You can also request information and learn more about the Johnson experience from current students by visiting Johnson Voices.

We look forward to working with you during the 2015 – 2016 admissions cycle!
