Financial Planning: One-Year MBA International Students

Every day we benefit from the invaluable contributions our international community members make to Johnson. Learn about Cornell’s commitment to supporting international students and find resources at Global Learning.

International Student Orientation

Incoming international students must participate in International Student Orientation (ISO) before the start of Johnson classes. ISO is designed to:

  • acclimate you to U.S. business school
  • help you build early connections with key faculty and staff, as well as your international peers
  • launch your career search with a crash course on everything you need to know to be successful on the job market

ISO Details

  • Required programming: ISO will be held May 5 – 7 online ahead of the May 9, 2021 program start.
  • All sessions will be virtual
  • There is no fee to attend ISO, but you must confirm your participation within our New Student Information Form that will be sent to you in early spring

ISO Waivers

International students who have extensive U.S.-based work and/or educational experience might be eligible to waive the ISO requirement. To inquire about a waiver, please complete the Student Information Form and complete the section about requesting a waiver and a member of the team will be in touch regarding your request.
