Johnson is home to a multitude of Asian and Desi Americans, East Asians, South East Asians, South Asians, and Western Asians. ODI works closely with the Asia Affinity Business Association (AABA) to create opportunities for education around Asian cultures and to foster a community among the international Asian student organizations at Johnson.

Diwali

Each Fall, the South Asia Business Club hosts their annual Diwali Celebration with entertainment by students, faculty, and staff, as well as delicious food catered by a local Indian restaurant!

Lunar New Year

The Greater China Business Club (GCBC), Korean Business Club (KBC), and South East Asian Club (SEAC) celebrate the Lunar New Year at the first Sage Social of the spring semester!

AAPIDA Month

Each May, the United States celebrate Asian American, Pacific Islander, and Desi American Month. Due to the busyness of May, we celebrate this month in April, hosting Asian Alumni panels, a Fiery Chat, and social and educational programming.


Asian Affinity Business Association

With liaisons into the Greater China Business Club (GCBC), Korean Business Club (KBC), Johnson Japan Club (JJC), South Asian Business Club (SABC), and South East Asian Club (SEAC), Asian Affinity Business Association fosters a community that builds relationships among Asian MBA students at Johnson, provides professional support and mentorship, and promotes greater awareness and allyship of Asian American & Pacific Island (AAPI) heritage across the greater Johnson community.
