Biography

Hassan Ilyas started the PhD program in 2017. Prior to joining Cornell, he was working as a Data Scientist at Goldman Sachs. He holds an MSc in financial engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a BS in Electrical Engineering from the Lahore University of Management Sciences. Hassan’s research is in the field of empirical corporate finance with a focus on how managers learn from and are influenced by financial markets and institutions.

Hassan is on the 2022-2023 Finance job market.
