Biography
Kunyuan was born in Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, where General Tso made his name by maintaining it within the Chinese territory. However, General Tso never invented the famous Chicken. His hometown—populated by different ethnicities with various religions—sparks him to study how history, institution, religion/culture, and other related processes affect contemporary organizational behavior and entrepreneurship. Kunyuan obtained a B.A. in finance/economics and a B.Sc. in Statistics from Peking University, and two M.A.s in economics from Peking University and the Pennsylvania State University respectively before joining Cornell S.C.
