Xiaoyan Liu’s research lies in the design and operations of online marketplaces, innovative business models, and operations-finance interface. She applies data analytics (including statistical and machine learning) and game-theoretical modeling to facilitate and inform business decisions. Prior to joining Cornell in 2015, she earned a B.Eng. in Logistics Engineering and Supply Chain Management from Tianjin University and studied Management at Fudan University.
