At the Johnson School, we invite candidates from all backgrounds to connect with us through events that showcase our community, culture, and values.

We also partner with organizations like The Consortium for Graduate Study in Management, Forté, Reaching Out MBA (ROMBA), and the Toigo Foundation to expand opportunities for our MBA students. Experience Johnson: A Dynamic Preview of Cornell’s Inclusive MBA Community

Johnson Means Business (JMB) is a two-day immersive experience open to everyone, where you can engage with current students, alumni, faculty, and staff through panels, mock classes, and networking sessions. You’ll gain firsthand insight into the Johnson School community, academic offerings, and professional resources that can help shape your MBA journey.

During October 16-18, you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Learn about the Johnson MBA program, student experience, and resources to support our students
  • Gain valuable information on how to position yourself as a leading candidate for admission
  • Network with Johnson students, faculty, staff, and alumni

Application Process

The application to attend Johnson Means Business is now open and they will close on October 3. Decisions are sent out on a rolling basis, so if you know you need to book travel to Ithaca, we encourage you to apply as soon as possible.

Participants who apply by our Round 2 application deadline will receive an invitation to interview throughout the application cycle along with a Johnson application fee waiver for use during the 2025-2026 application year.
