Biography
Joe Wilson identifies and manages targeted relationships with buyers of primary and secondary leveraged loans, and provides insights on underwriting and financial structures for LBOs, recapitalizations and refinancings. Joe was previously a Managing Director at Citigroup where he was a senior member of the loan sales and trading franchise. As a member of the leveraged credit sales team, he was responsible for primary loan, secondary loan and structured credit sales to a diverse investor base. Prior to Citibank, Joe worked at JP Morgan in a variety of roles, including investment banking, commercial banking and par and distressed loan sales and trading.
Joe graduated with honors from North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University with a BS in Accounting and holds an MBA in Finance from the Samuel Curtis Johnson School at Cornell University. He is a certified public accountant, a CFA Charter holder, and a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts. Joe and his wife, Donna, live in Montclair New Jersey with their son Joseph III (Trey).
