Welcome to the Debra Paget and Jeffrey Berg Business Simulation Laboratory

The Business Simulation Lab facilitates in-lab and online behavioral research to study complex decision-making, advance problem solving and model development. Historically, the lab mainly supported professors and PhD students within the Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management. Since 2016, the lab has also served researchers within the Cornell SC Johnson College of Business. The lab offers opportunities for students, staff, and Ithaca community members to participate in studies.

The Lab is available to assist in the administration of computer-based experiments, focus groups, interviews, events, and more. It does not mandate a minimum or average pay and allows all types of studies granted IRB approval.

For more information about the Lab, please refer to the 2021-2022 Academic Year Annual Report.

“I have relied heavily on the BSL for conducting experiments in psychology and consumer behavior. I feel fortunate that we have such a professional lab at Johnson and will continue to use its services for running experiments.”
