Business Impact Analysis

Project: Principle Energy had launched an ethanol project in Mozambique where they anticipated creating 2,500 direct jobs and a cash flow of $3 million per year into a community where there were currently no jobs and the total economic activity in the region was estimated to be about $100,000 annually. Principle Energy anticipated creating numerous small business ventures that would range from laundromats to brickmaking shops to fresh produce. The SGE Immersion team analyzed the impact of the company’s proposed operations on the local community of Dombe to help Principle Energy understand how and where to make investments that would catalyze the development of a robust local economy over time.
