The Executive MBA Metro NY program, based in Palisades, NY, offers working professionals the opportunity to develop leadership skills critical for today’s dynamic business environment as they seek to advance their careers—earn an MBA on alternate weekends over the course of 22 months.

What makes the Executive MBA Metro NY program different?

Its unique delivery format. Classes take place every other weekend, but the immersive environment is reflective of a residential program experience.

Johnson’s Executive MBA Metro NY classes are taught by Cornell’s world-renowned faculty on Saturdays and Sundays just outside New York City. The residential component, including the Saturday evening stay, allows you to remain fully immersed in coursework and team projects with minimal distractions.

Integrated and sequenced curriculum

Program curriculum is focused on general management principles and is applicable to students from any industry or functional area. During your second year, the curriculum will expand into more advanced coursework including Innovation and New Venture Creation, Valuations, Advanced Strategic Analysis, and the Global Business Study program which brings our executive MBAs into an international market for a week-long business immersion. You will also be able to customize your experience with elective courses.

Immersive residential sessions

The Executive MBA Metro NY program includes four residential sessions on the Cornell University campus in Ithaca, NY. During these weeks, you’ll complete intensive coursework and engage with faculty, classmates, and the broader Cornell community in a variety of ways—you can participate in Cornell Outdoor Education activities, attend a sporting event, visit the Finger Lakes wineries, or network with other Cornell MBA students, among other things.
