Johnson Recent Alumni Council

The Johnson Recent Alumni Council (JRAC) is an engaged group of recent Johnson graduates dedicated to enhancing the student and recent alumni experience, as well as the broader Johnson community. The council works with the dean and SC Johnson College of Business Alumni Affairs staff to assist in implementing the school’s strategic goals. Members work on various initiatives throughout the year and meet regularly with the Dean and key Johnson faculty and staff.

Members are invited to serve through a formal nominating process managed by Alumni Affairs and the nominating committee and appointed by the dean of Johnson. Nominations open in the spring.

10 Under 10 Notable Alumni

In 2021, the Johnson Recent Alumni Council (JRAC) launched the inaugural 10 Under 10 notable alumni initiative to honor ten stellar alumni who are within ten years of graduation. Each fall, 10 Under 10 notable alumni are selected and recipients are featured individually in profiles throughout the academic year. Alumni honorees are nominated by Cornell faculty, staff, and alumni and selected by JRAC members based on their demonstrated excellence in two of the following three pillars: professional success, level of involvement in their community, and level of engagement with the Cornell community.
