Using the Lab

The Business Simulation Lab suite is available for computer-based experiments, focus groups, interviews, events, and more. The lab does not mandate a minimum or average pay, and allows all types of studies granted IRB approval.

Submit a Study Request

Interested researchers should reach out to lab manager Mary Ross at BSLAdmin@cornell.edu with research needs and study information. The lab uses Sona Systems to manage studies and recruiting. For a full list of study fields and directions on requesting a new lab study, please visit Using Sona.

Scheduling and Recruiting

The lab collects study requests in advance and allocates the earliest available time. Please send your plans when you have them, as well as the required IRB approval or exemption. Send plans at least ten days in advance, by the Friday two weeks before you begin data collection. Recruiting emails go out to the Sona Systems participant pool every Monday.
