Important Dates

At Johnson, our MPS – Management Orientation includes a mix of orientation activities, recruiting preparation, and team-building/social events. Please note that orientation is mandatory for all new MPS – Management (including Accounting Specialization) students.

Coursework in the Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management and Cornell University begins Monday, August 21. Most MPS – Management students are typically enrolled in a mix of courses in and outside of the Johnson School.

Cornell observes the federal Labor Day holiday. Offices will be closed and classes will not be held.

This is your chance to take a break from classes and relax. It’s also an excellent time to catch up on career preparation and recruiting-related work.

Please note that Cornell is unable to observe this federal holiday due to the demands of the fall academic calendar. We thank all of Johnson’s Veterans for their service.

No classes will be held during this period.

Once classes end, you will have a brief study period, and then final exams will begin.

This is the latest possible date that you will have a final exam. Your specific exam schedule will depend on the courses in which you enroll, and will be available in the fall.
