International Students

Every day we benefit from the invaluable contributions our international community members make to Johnson. Learn about Cornell’s commitment to supporting international students and find resources at Global Learning.

International Student Orientation

Incoming international students must attend International Student Orientation (ISO) before the start of their program. ISO is designed to:

  • Acclimate you to U.S. business school
  • Help you build early connections with key faculty and staff, as well as your international peers
  • Launch your career search with a crash course on everything you need to know to be successful on the job market

ISO Details

Our plans for International Student Orientation (ISO) for the Two-Year MBA Class of 2022 are under review, given the change in the program’s start date.

We remain committed to providing all experience. We anticipate that ISO will be delivered virtually and that we will move to August dates to better align with the new start date. We will be in contact with all admitted international students as soon as we have finalized our plans.

ISO Waivers

International students who have extensive U.S.-based work and/or educational experience might be eligible to waive the ISO requirement. Students who are interested in requesting a waiver should do so within our Student Information Form, which will be sent to all incoming students in the late spring.
