Biography
Fred Asante’s research interests lie at the intersection of accounting, banking, contracting, supply chain sustainability and development economics, with a specific focus on how debt markets, financial regulation, and disclosure shape economic behavior in developed and informal economies.
Prior to joining the Johnson Ph.D. program in 2021, Fred held various roles at Bank of America within corporate finance and commercial banking, where he provided financial solutions to middle-market companies. He holds a BBA in Accounting from Howard University and an MBA from Wake Forest University.
