Planning Your Travel

Cornell Tech is located on Roosevelt Island, New York, a small but cosmopolitan island nestled on the East River between Manhattan and Queens. The Island is accessible numerous ways. For Ithaca-based students, we have a FREE round-trip coach available on Thursday, October 10. (Please choose the transportation option during registration)

By Air

New York City and Cornell Tech are serviced by three local airports:

John F. Kennedy International Airport
LaGuardia Airport
Newark Liberty International Airport

From the airport you can travel to Roosevelt Island by car, taxi and ride share services, subway, and the Roosevelt Island Tram.

By Car

If driving to Roosevelt Island, there is valet parking available at The Graduate Hotel. Parking is $65 per day and is the responsibility of the participant. Self-parking is available in the Motorgate Parking Garage for $24 per night.

Lodging

The Graduate by Hilton New York, located on Roosevelt Island, is our recommended choice for accommodations, for its ease of access to the conference venue.
