Vice President, Business Development, AQR Capital Management
Marianne is a senior member of AQR’s Client Strategies team, collaborating with institutional investors throughout the Northeastern U.S. and Canada. In this role, she is responsible for overseeing existing client relationships within the region, advising on asset allocation, portfolio construction and AQR’s investment strategies. Marianne sits on the Steering Committee of the AQR Women’s Initiative Network (“WIN”) and co-chairs the Women’s Recruiting Pillar. Prior to AQR, Marianne was the Head of East Coast Client Advisory and Marketing at Greenline Partners and a client advisor at Bridgewater Associates. Earlier, in Goldman, Sachs & Co.’s Pension, Endowment and Foundation Group, she developed custom cross-asset solutions for clients. She began her career as an analyst in Goldman Sachs’ Corporate Treasury. She earned an A.B. in economics from Princeton University, graduating magna cum laude, and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
Sector Leader/Portfolio Manager, Fidelity Investments
Nidhi Gupta is a sector leader and portfolio manager in the Equity division at Fidelity Investments. Fidelity Investments is a leading provider of investment management, retirement planning, portfolio guidance, brokerage, benefits outsourcing, and other financial products and services to institutions, financial intermediaries, and individuals.
In this role, Ms. Gupta is responsible for coverage of large cap internet stocks and for making buy and sell recommendations on equity stocks for the firm’s equity-based portfolio managers. Additionally, she manages Fidelity Advisor Technology Fund, VIP Technology Portfolio, and Fidelity Select Technology Portfolio and is the Technology sector leader.
Previously, Ms. Gupta was responsible for the Fidelity Select Multimedia Portfolio.
Prior to joining Fidelity as a global equity research analyst intern in 2007, Ms. Gupta was an analyst at Citadel Investment Group in Chicago, where she covered U.S. and European pharmaceuticals. Previously, Ms. Gupta was a business analyst at McKinsey & Company. She has been in the financial industry since joining the investment banking division of Goldman, Sachs & Company as a summer analyst in 2002.
Ms. Gupta earned her bachelor of science degree in management science and engineering and her bachelor of arts degree in international relations from Stanford University. She also earned her master of business administration degree from Harvard Business School.
