Biography

Michael J. Lee's research interests are in the areas of financial accounting with an emphasis on corporate disclosures, financial reporting quality, and capital markets. Prior to joining the Johnson Ph.D. program in 2022, Michael J. Lee worked as an auditor and an in-house valuation specialist for PwC Korea for four years. Michael J. Lee received his M.S. in accounting from Seoul National University and B.S. in economics from Indiana University with summa cum laude and from SungKyunKwan University. Michael J. Lee is a registered CPA in South Korea.
