Biography

Yuan's research passion lies in uncovering business insights using quantitative methods and computational techniques. Her research agenda includes examining the implications of racial and ethnic price discrimination in U.S. housing market, optimizing personalized recommendation systems in online B2B marketplaces, developing estimation frameworks for financial and demand forecasting. Before joining Johnson Ph.D. program in 2018, Yuan received her M.S. degree in Structure Engineering with two graduate minors in Applied Probability & Statistics and Computer Science from Cornell.
